PEARSON- On Monday, April 16, 2012, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Tri-County 911 received a call in reference to Curtis Lee McCutchen, 74 years old, being discovered deceased in his residence by family members. The Pearson Police Department responded to the residence located on Edward Circle and the GBI Douglas office was called and requested to assist in the investigation.

The victim lived alone and an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon, Georgia. The initial scene assessment by GBI Crime Scene Technicians indicates the manner of death is a homicide. The cause of death is not being released at this time and no arrest has been made.
