Decatur, GA - The GBI and the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) have conducted separate but complementary studies on human trafficking in Georgia which are being released today.  The study done by the GBI, “Human Trafficking in Georgia: A Survey of Law Enforcement Assessing Georgia’s Law Enforcement’s Awareness of and Involvement in Human Trafficking Activity,” examines human trafficking from the law enforcement perspective.  The CJCC study, “Assessing the Scope and Availability of Services for Human Trafficking Victims Among Georgia’s Victims’ Services Providers,” delves into the interaction human trafficking victims have with victims’ services providers.
