Thomasville, GA - On December 10, 2014, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Thomas County Sheriff’s Office obtained arrest warrants for Wade Jackson, 52, of 599 Old Albany Road, Thomasville. Jackson is charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery and Burglary; in the May 4, 2014, death of Sharlene Smith Steadman, 53, of 142 Ladybug Lane, Ochlocknee. Steadman was found in the early morning hours in her home with the cause of death being blunt force trauma to the head.

Jackson is being held on a parole violation in the Georgia State Prison System and will be picked up by the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office within the next couple of days.
