Cairo, GA - On Friday, February 10, 2017, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Thomasville Regional Office was requested by the Grady County Sheriff’s Office to assist in a death investigation involving a newborn female infant.  Earlier on this date, the infant was brought to Grady General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.  The body will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab in Macon, GA for an autopsy.
