Thomasville, GA (January 11, 2019) – On Thursday, January 10, 2019, the GBI arrested William R. Cason, 51, of Thomasville, GA, on two counts of Child Molestation, one count of Cruelty to Children in the First Degree, and two counts of Sexual Battery.

On December 26, 2018, the Thomasville Police Department requested the GBI to assist in a child molestation investigation. Information obtained during the investigation revealed that sexual contact had taken place between Cason and two juvenile victims in 2011.

Cason was arrested and booked without incident into the Thomas County Jail. This is an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this case should contact the GBI Thomasville Office at 229-225-4090.
