Drug Arrest Made in Habersham County
Mt. Airy, GA (May 5, 2019) – On May 2, 2019, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) concluded a three month drug investigation with the arrest of David Chase Anderson, 21, of Mt. Airy, GA. Habersham County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with ARDEO Agents executed a search warrant at the residence of Anderson, 1675 Jess Kinney Road, Mt. Airy, GA. During the search, agents located approximately five pounds of marijuana, 159 THC Vape Cartridges (Schedule I narcotic), approximately 100 “hits” of LSD, approximately $32,000 cash, and three firearms. The street value of the seized illegal drugs was $30,370. Anderson was arrested during a traffic stop by Habersham county deputies and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I narcotic, and possession of a stolen firearm. Anderson was transported to the Habersham County Detention Center. Additional charges are pending.
