GBI Arrests 10 in Joint Drug Investigation in Milledgeville
Arrests come after 4-month-long joint investigation
Milledgeville, Baldwin County, GA (June 18, 2024) – After a 4-month-long joint drug investigation, the GBI has arrested and charged 10 people in Milledgeville, Georgia on a host of drug-related charges. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Middle Georgia Gang Task Force (MGGTF), the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), the Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS), the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC), the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Milledgeville Police Department worked together in this drug investigation.
Police arrested the following people:
- Juan Diego Hartry, age 48, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Trafficking of Methamphetamine and Sale of Methamphetamine.
- Kirk Patrick Mosley, age 51, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Arson.
- Trinity Amen Garcia, age 17, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Trafficking Cocaine.
- Kayleigh Ann Larimore, age 19, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Trafficking Cocaine.
- Charles Gene Cook, age 56, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Sale of Methamphetamine.
- Crystal Monique Mitchell, age 39, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with 4 counts of Sale of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.
- Demontea Keshawn Bundrage, age 18, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule 5Substance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
- Javan Tashawn Mitchell, age 21, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule VSubstance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
- Davin Jamond Mitchell, age 22, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule VSubstance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
- Lucille Peggy Mitchell, age 63, of Milledgeville, GA, charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Possession of Schedule VSubstance, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Tampering with Evidence.
On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, GBI MGGTF arrested 6 people involved in drug trafficking and sales in Milledgeville. These arrests led agents to arrest 4 additional people on drug and gun charges. While executing these search warrants,agents seized 3 handguns, 3 rifles, approximately 1 pound of suspected marijuana, approximately 1 ounce of suspected cocaine, 1 bottle of suspected codeine, and 1 handgun “switch.”
GBI-MGGTF, GDC, DCS, and GSP conducted this investigation to make an impact on the current drug distribution and gang activity within Central Georgia and to promote a safer place for productive citizens.
